Artisan, author, and photographer Susan Wasinger has been a graphic designer for 20 years specializing in book, magazine, and packaging design. Susan has won many awards for publication design including numerous Maggie awards, as well as recognition from the Art Director’s Club and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Her design work has been honored in Print Magazine’s Regional Annual as well as numerous national and local awards for book design. Her design work, photographs, projects, and writing have been included in magazines as diverse as Herb Companion, Piecework, and Metropolitan Home. She has designed the national shelter magazine Natural Home and Garden as well as conceiving, writing, and
photographing their acclaimed Try This project section. She currently lives in the foothills west of Boulder, Colorado in a large solar-powered house with her husband, Grammy-award winning record producer Tom Wasinger, and their children Camille and Rainer.
